Jkp - Bgucore Radio

please try to explain what that is
pd redefining mathematics |expr fact(0)|==0
-
three sampler connected directly to internet radio with sequencer and one kick
more different random fxs. -
I don't want to sound rude, but:
Did you know that a decent manual helps a long way? The readme doesn't do it justice since it doesn't list all requirements to run this patch. There is for instance a dll that you need to have installed, but it doesn't provide a valid place to download it from.
No offence intended.
-
perhaps a little video could help you
you don't need to a dll, just pd-extended and internetjkp
-
Good fun!
Was looking to do something similar with readanysf~ and had over looked Yves' mp3amp~, so thanks for that also.

No offence jkp, but jobromedia was right, you need some missing .dll's. I'm on 041.4 extended winxp. First it seemed to crash pd complaining about libmp3lame.dll. After20 seconds or so it started up with this message:
C:\\Program Files\\pd\\extra\\unauthorized\\mp3amp~.dll: couldn't load
mp3amp~Any ideas cause I'm curious now?

I think the builds of unauthorized included are a bit old, there are a few objects that don't work on OSX too.
Having trouble understanding how to get the streams running e.g. http://minnesota.publicradio.org/tools/play/streams/news.pls mp3amp~ adds in a port number http:/minnesota.publicradio.org:8000/tools/play/streams/news.pls there's a load more here http://www.shoutcast.com/radio/Talk i've tried but can't get anything running.

i used pd-extended 0.42.5, perhaps it make perhaps a difference.
But, indeed it's true that mp3amp is very unstable but i selected some correct streams and i wrote to yves degoyon but without success -
Degoyon has stated several times on the list that he hates Windows and the people who use it, and therefore doesn't make any effort to make Windows-friendly objects (he authored the ridiculous [spigot~] object that we so often have to remind newbies not to use on this forum). So don't be surprised if his objects aren't and never will be cross-platform.

That's a bit harsh and not very open source friendly. A shame cause that makes for a difficult (impossible?) to play patch for quite some pd'ers i guess...
