Openlab #2 will be held at the Vibe Bar, Brick Lane in London this Sunday. Between 4 and 11pm there will be a varied selecion of open source based art and music including several performances exclusively using puredata. If you're in London this weekend do check it out.

Also I am excited to recieve news that a piece I did entirely in puredata has been accepted to the Edinburgh International Science Festival http://www.sciencefestival.co.uk/ as an Ensight http://www.ensight.org.uk/ contribution. It's a stochastic score based on a model of a spiking neuron.

Openlab2 was a resounding success. It was very smoothly organised by some of the goto10 crew and there was all sorts of experimental art and music, some very impressive live coding, beautiful jazz, extreme noise/industrial, and some dancable beats. Also the latest Dynebolic (Pure:Dyne) release is looking good - this distro is a *must* to check out for all computer musicians.
