Well I'm trying to use [xeq] to play midi on a [dac~] but I can't find any help file telling what must come to the inlet.
Anyone?
What is the inlet of \[xeq\] ?

Well if this page reports the 3 outlets, no inlet is described there. I'm sure it's quite simple. I have a pitch and velocity vector available. I tried this without success
| --------------> here comes the pitch&velocity list (changing at each note)
[xeq]

[dac~]
I'm not even sure about connecting [xeq] to [dac~] directly because [xeq] outputs a number rather than a signal...
i'm not sure, and i have never used xeq, so i am just answering in case no-one else helps you...
but i think those 'methods' on that http page are messages you can send to the inlet,.
ie. [transpo 7( would transpose by 7
Oh ok, I'm going to check that immediately. Tks
