First, thanks. I appreciate any reply to my questions... However, I read through the puredata.info/docs/faq/pdsettings and it had an explanation that did not coincide with what I am seeing when I run Pd.
I am running on Mac OSX, and it says "On Mac OS X the settings are stored via the native plist-system (in ~/Library/Preferences/org.puredata.pd.plist). You can edit them with the command line util defaults, like defaults read org.puredata.pd"
I tried finding Library/Preferences/org.puredata.pd.plist and looked at it with Text Editor and yeah..... that's about as far as I got. I know some aspects of Pd are not very user-friendly and I'm not as much of a computer nerd as I would like, so I'm still confused.
I have not come across any button that says "save all settings" like it suggests. I'm at work right now so I'm not able to try anything at the moment. I'll keep trying later tonight though. Thanks again!!
