Does it possible to export a snapshot from puredata into jpeg (or another image format)?
I mean, using only puredata, without any other capture software.
I'd like to render a [pix_snap2tex] into an indipendent jpeg.
Thanks

well, by 'other capture software' if you don't count your operati ng system's capabilities... in Mac OS X if you hold Shift-apple-4 and then hit space bar. mouse click on the GEM window will create Picture 1.png on the desktop.
or whatever format, i can't remember

in linux, the 'import' command does the job.
any technology distinguishable from magic
is insufficiently advanced. -
[pix_write] does both [pix_snap2tex] and write-tex-to-file. dunno if its possible in Gem to save a texture directly, but saving the image buffer is possible for sure
