How to make something like a gate using to control of sending signals?

In my project I have several signals with different transformations and I would like to have a possibility to select just one which will be send to output. Is there any command which allows to send signal when 'bang' is received, for example:

input(~)

[command?]---bang
|
dac~

[spigot~]

for a typical audio threshold controlled gate, you may want something like this, going into the [spigot~]

[adc~]

| [env~]
| |
| [moses 60] // 60 = threshold level

| | |
[spigot~]

[dac~]

don't use [spigot~] !!

it's really un-neccessary and won't work for lots of people.

you can make exactly the same thing using [*~ ]

ie.

[adc~]
| |
| [env~]
| |
| [moses 60] // 60 = threshold level
| | |
| [0( [1(
| | /
[*~ ]
|
[dac~]

really, whenever possible use pd vanilla objects and only use externals if they do something that vanilla can't do or can't do well.
