Hi! everyone, I've just started studying PD. Anyway, when I open sample sources of GEM, I found a problem which is not to move the GEM window. Is it a bug? How can I move that? Thank you.

How to move GEM window?
-
one solution is to pick up your monitor and carry it somewhere else....as far as i know you can't move the window while it is open, but you can destroy it and create another window with an offset or something.
maybe read the help file for [gemwin] and it might have something? sorry, i don't know much about the visual stuff -
You could use the library wmangle. It allows you to resize ans move all windows (not only the pd-related ones), and so I suppose it will work with GEM Window too.

On the Mac: press command key+click and drag title bar to move the window
On the PC: not sure about the exact equivalent, but must be one of the option keys -
aah, thanks yuri...never knew that was even possible

just for the archives:
moving the gemwindow on linux & w32 is just as moving any other window.
the problem is only on osX since pd used to be not a "real" osX-application (and probably this is not a problem any more with the new version of pd)
