i have just downloaded both the granular delay patches put up in the forum once opened the patches where not in pd format so i thought that if i changed them by renaming them to .pd it might work but they both crashed puredata,any clue i thought the zips might have been corrupt whilst compressed,but it must work for everyone else. ?

When it is an attachment hosted by the forum itself, make sure you don't right-click it and do a 'Save as...' because then you saved some html. You need to left click it and then download it.

thanks dom but eihter way i try right or left click all both granular delays that i try to download are
not proper patches and puredata doesn't accept either of them.its the code inside the patch just is puredata maybe its my pc will try them on a different set-up.but still puzzles me

One common mistake... the filename you choose to save as must end in .pd or Pd will not recognise it.
