So is there a way to sync Pd with a DAW?

there might be a way to get midi click information into pd, but i don't know....

a workaround might be to create a channel in your DAW that sends a midi note every beat, and use that to sync to pd.

One way is to use [midirealtimein] which spits out midi clock info (248, 250 252)
