please someone do you know good objects, externals for this

basically, fill moving graphical shape with text in realtime
shapes will be single color filled, no gradients

i have used PDP/pidip, but i think i'll need GEM for this at least, which i don't know

any suggestion welcome

really i don't know GEM very well, but i will TRY to answer in case no-one else helps you:

i think you have to:

1. create text - not sure what the object for this is, but probably something like [pix_text] i'm sure you can find it.

2. take a 'snapshot' of that text. again, not exactly sure what object you need, but it's something like [pix2snap]

3. [pix_texture] to use that snapshot as a texture

4. [sphere] , [cuboid], [teapot] etc as 3D object

1. text3d (i think, not used text in Gem yet)
2. pix_snap2tex (grabs part of the rendered image to a texture)
3. sphere, cube, square, teapot, whatever you like for 3D object to have a texture

Yeah, i thought about inserting the text into shape in realtime video (from camera etc.)

but this is also good possibility, go from the other end, take the text and make the moving shape around it

thanks i'll think about doing it like this, but if someone have the idea how to do it in video, i still appreciate it...

well i have some idea to detect blob in the video (pix_film -> pix_multiblob) and then put text2D onto the coordinates, but it won't fill more complex shapes...
