hi, i´m trying to make something like a guitar pedal, so i wonder what kind of analog effects have pd.
i can make only a delay and the objects fft~, rifft~, ifft~, rfft~.
i think pd have other objects, that process audio input (adc~)
thanks
Analog effects

Well it all depends what you're trying to do of course. But don't underestimate the power of simple delay lines. (In combination with filtering) they can provide you already lots of fx. For distortion there's a nice topic going on right now.
So what exactly do you want to create?

i don´t want to underestimate the power of pd, i know that pd, is a powerful instrument for musicians. i´m new using the software sorry.
i´m trying to do is a lot of effects, for to use with my guitar, because the high quality of pd in realtime processes.
i´m looking for some effect nearly to the aqua effect. if you know the korg pedals maybe you´ve listened to it.
so, i´m trying to do is a realtime processes. the only things that i can do is what i wrote before. so any help is wonderful about realtime processes.
Ok, i don't know about the korg aqua effect - although it probably will be something bubbly i guess. Af far as i know, there aren't many bread & butter effect objects available as externals. But there are quite some interesting fx patches you can download (look in the patches section on this forum).
[adc~] is used to route external audio (via your audio interface of course) into pd. Once it arrives out of the outlet of [adc~] you can use it like any other audio stream (e.g. an [osc~] oscillator).
To create something bubbly it might be an idea to work with filters and feedbacking delay lines. In this case [lop~] [hip~] [bp~] [vcf~] are your filter-friends (there are other, more advance filter objects though) and [delwrite~] [delread~] and [vd~] are used for delays. You can try to add movement to the filters by using lfo's on their frequency and resonance parameters. For lfo's look at [osc~], [phasor~], [line~], [vline~],...
There are a couple of ways i think to create "interesting" patches :
1. either you know in depth what you want to achieve and patch it
2. you've got no clue what you're trying to do but you experiment and maybe you'll end up with something useful
3. a mix of 1 & 2.
What i'm trying to say is that you can experiment as much as you want, because you can do whatever you want in pd.
If you're really after a specific sound, it might be an idea to upload a short audio example of that sound.
D.

thanks for the answer, if i get a file sound of what i want, i´ll try to upload
You can also run your audio through VST instruments using vst~ extra
Anyone know if the [vst~] object can still be had?
Oops! Looks like something went wrong!
