Hello all, quick question regarding lists.. have had a good search through zl objects / tutorials but cant see anything suitable. any help greatly appreciated!

I have a list of 8 values, lets say it is:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

I would like to offset it, so if I send 2 it would read

2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1

or if a 3:

3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2

etc

what is the easiest way to achieve this?

I think [list split] is what you need

@humanpyramids [list-rot] ..... (surprisingly?) .... can do exactly what you ask... maintaining the complete list. It also uses [list-split] and is vanilla...... from the list-abs library.

I have modified its help file a little to achieve what you ask.
