I'm working on a pd patch using pi 4. I bought small audio interface UGREEN. Connect it to my pi 4 and it seems to recognized it but no sound is coming out. I try both play file via vlc, via pd and via YouTube (the video is stuck and not playing at all).

I try to change the alsamixer setting following that link but it seems it is not storing my new setting.

Anyone encounter that?
How can I fix that issue?

I wrote at terminal: sudo alsamixer then I press F6 and choose device 3: USB Audio Device.

after that I press esc and then type at terminal: sudo alsactl --file ~/.config/asound.state store
I then reboot my pi and back to terminal and typed again: sudo alsamixer and it back to the default device
What I'm doing wrong?
