i use a midi keyboard, but pure data only uses the first midi channel. i want polyphony.

@4ZZ4 [poly] assigns incoming midi notes an index..... note/velocity messages can then be routed to a bank of sound generators..... and when a zero velocity arrives it will be sent to the generator for that note...... not my subject and not well explained probably........ it's help-file will make more sense I think.

as whale-av said, use [poly] for that, you don't need another midi channel.
