Not a question;
I just checked out IanniX for OSX. Awesome! This is a port of the hardware/software/artifact created by Iannis Xenakis. It takes the form of an OSC sequencer and works great with pd. Check it out at Sourceforge... right now.
The Question;
Has anybody compiled this on Linux-ppc? I've gotten as far as qmake, but just get a stack of errors when I try and compile. Might have to do with spaces " " in the pathname... grumbe grumble....

Try reading the documentation on [dumpOSC] and [OSCroute]. Also, pick apart the PD examples on the sourceforge site. IanniX sends a bunch of messages over OSC, which communicates via UDP, either locally or over the network. To get at the OSC messaged you need to specify (via arguments to [dumpOSC]) and use [OSCroute], whic is very similar to [route]. The messages are sent over UDP as /Iannix/Triggers/x x x x or /Iannix/Curves/ x x x x depending on the type. You can specify exact;y what is sent in IanniX Preferences.

I'll post something when I get to it. This seems like a good method for "scoring" a piece. That is to say; It provides a somewhat rigorous framework for sequencing events, whatever they may be. The challenge for me has been creating the 'orchestra' entirely in pd. Xenakis apparently used something quite similar for some time and came up with some pretty interesting stuff.

Mary is a loop based XoXo sequencer in Iannix, using triggers.
George is less structured and uses curves.
Both have corresponding pd patches. Make sure that your preferences in Iannix are set to only send Custon ID and curves/trigger Values. My patch (pd) expects to get;
/iannix/curves/ CustID v(integer)
/iannix/trigegrs/ CustID v(integer)

i'm currently trying to have the OSC working in pd extended 0.39.3 and i have to say that i can't get it !
do you have any tip ?
Try creating the objects [dumpOSC] [sendOSC] or [OSCroute]
these are the OSC objects, there is no object named 'OSC'
Otherwise, make sure you have loaded OSC at startup.

I have pinched your Mary Patch and tried to alter it to make it do what im looking for
Im trying to have one circle trajectory triggering a sample over and over again and another triggering an increase in delay time or feedback.
This is what I have got so far but when I connect it to the DAC~ i get a horrible feedback loop or somehting that is very loud so beware.
I can tell what im doing wrong with it. I think I have looked at it for too long now!

have another look at your delwrite~ and delread~ setup....
at the moment it seems possible to send the delwrite~ back to the delread~ with a delay of 0. that's going to make a terrible feedback loop.
you need to set the delaytime to a minimum of about 5ms.
Also, it seems your triggers are just loading a soundfile over and over again?
