Probably, many pd patches stop working when they're too old No, not really of course... You should check if the "compute audio" checkbox in the pd main console is turned on. If so, check the output in the console. Maybe you have some objects missing... Also make sure you're audio is properly configured, by opening the test audio/midi patch you can quickly check this.

Hi there
I'm very new on this forum and in the wonderful world of pd. I'm researching as we speak. Will appreciate any links that can help me study this music programming language. I'm concerned is not easy, but I'll give my best because I can see the results are way too rewarding =)
Right now I'm looking at this group of patches/or one patch, is seems very complicated but I'm willing to study it and use it live on my experimental project debut. This is what it looks like, actually is one of the examples in the main pd page. Here's the url for the one I need http://fast.mediamatic.nl/f/sjnh/image/934/15579-500-375.png
Any help will be greatly appreciated =)

Oooops, so sorry Agroscim, I didn't do much research within this messageboard. Thanks for pointing that out to me, appreciate and apologize at the same time. ALC

Hmmm... I have everything as it should be in terms of audio. I'm on Windows XP, not Linux, so it's definitely spigot~ which is giving me the trouble and causing the signal/nonsignal input/output message. I tried adding it to the the the startup path (in the unauthorized folder), as well as just putting it directly in the ma4u folder but still to no avail. I don't know too much about adding abstractions and binaries though so I might just be missing something basic. Any Windows users know of a solution?

here's the windows friendly version:

Whoaa, thanks hardoff, this works amazingly with some samples that I've changed the bpm on and quantitized in Live. My goal with this patch is to add some more effects (most likely some out of your DIY2 library) that can be controlled using [mousecontrol] (eventually I'd like to create touch interface using the DS screen and arduino, but that's for another time and another thread). I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again for the patch!

Bump.
This patch really is more fun than mario.
