minpower message to Sigmund - not working?

Hello All,

I am using sigmund~ with the minpower message but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the output. I tried on Win10 and OSX 10.13 with PD 0.48 and 0.49.

Does the minpower message work in PD vanilla? Have a missed the blindingly obvious?

@audiolemon Have you tried it with a high minipower number (RMS min) and a very low signal input to [sigmund~]......and then a very strong signal input?
Sorry, probably a stupid question....... but.....
