ok, so i'm gonna kill my old mac g4, and introduce its skeleton to the wonderful new world of linux.
at the moemnt i am planning on doing the linux installation with the agnula distribution.
is this a good idea? sounds like the best option to me, but now my friend just told me he had trouble with it.

The demudi 1.2 is EXCELLENT.
kernel 2.4, based on a debian distribution.
It's a very simple installation, quite quick and the sound (for me) works at the beginning or restart the computer and it's okay. so it 's just all I want .
I'm not a common user in Linux. This distribution has all audio software for linux installed, like pd, and others ...
Try it! It's a powerful work.
