I'm using Pd-extended on MacOS. In preferences, I added a simple search path to be able to include my main store of abstractions (~/Documents/Pd). However, I now find that Pure Data has stopped recognising any Extended objects... I've tried [list-drip] and [prepend]. Has anyone else come across this problem?

Adding a new search path, Extended objects are lost

@baffalop Even though some people still use it, Pd extended is no longer supported so the general advice is to use either Pd "vanilla" or Purr-Data.

@baffalop You might need to add "libdir" as the first directory added... without the quote marks.
Also have a look here and maybe you can peek inside the files........ http://puredata.info/docs/faq/pdsettings

@weightless I did not know that, thanks.

@whale-av Thanks for the suggestion, but I couldn't even see how to add a path by text - a file browser window was opened every time.
I have switched to using Purr-Data, and it's pretty nice. Doesn't break on adding search paths.
