Hey everyone, intermediate PD user here. I have searched extensively for the answer to this question but have found nothing unfortunately.

Is there a way to convert incoming audio data to bytes (presumably from adc~)? I would like to write the bytes to a buffered array and patch the data into a Java plugin that I am working on. Thanks for your help

By the way, I am looking to do this in real time so avoiding writing to a soundfile would be ideal.

@atcq1227 Hi, you can take a look at the external [any2bytes] from the moocow library.

@atcq1227 In extended there was [streamout~].... (ggee library)
But un-buffered.
