Here's a Pd mod that I've been using. You can use color themes like in Pd-extended. There are also different inlets/outlets and cords for audio or messages.

I also put initbang and closebang back in
Unfortunately only tested/bundled on OS X

Also, I see that the aliasing effect is less ugly when the line is wider... since that's a current discussion

Also do you think that it is possible to refresh the screen draw after changing the curved lines so we see the result? Right now we need to select an box and move it to see the change.

@60hz right now the menu item just sets a tcl variable that is referenced whenever cords are drawn or moved.

it's a bit bigger than the planned scope of the bezier cables feature (it was a small feature just to take advantage of native tk bezier lines) and it didn't seem like that big of a deal for it to be the user's responsibility to redraw by minimizing or re-opening the canvas..

But, if there's an easy way to loop through open windows in tcl and send a redraw message to pd (or maybe just redraw the cords directly in tcl) I might put it in later

@60hz putting these lines in some .tcl file in the pd path (maybe even in the colors-plugin.tcl file..) will do the trick

Another question regarding inlet/outlet: now the msg_cord color is corelated to iolet outline color.
In order to make even better themes do you think that it would be possible to have a separated outlet outline color? or be able to have no outline in iolet?

@60hz I've been thinking about that too.. thought it would be cool to have the cables always be the same color as the outline, and also to cut down on "option bloat"

but I might put it in just to have the option.. I probably won't compile/release again until the next major pd version tho.

@jcorrea because each distro packages apps differently I didn't bother making any linux packages. However compiling from the latest master git sources should work fine, and I've successfully built and installed it on arch linux

btw there have been a few more issues I found over the last month on osx with the version of wish I was compiling and packaging (gui slugishness, permissions issues). Everything should be fixed on the 0.51-2 release page now though.

Hi nice Color Themes! What is the exact procedere to use this seb?! I downloaded a build from your github repo, but when i start PD NExt, the color is like the color in PD vanilla

@tungee the colors are set through tcl variables in a .tcl plugin loaded by pd when it starts. An example file with documentation is in doc/7.stuff/colors-plugin.txt. If you change the extension to .tcl and save it in your pd path you will get an example theme I was using awhile ago. From there you can change the hex values or tcl color names to get the values you want.
or you could try @60hz's .tcl file as a starting point (just download the .tcl file and put in your path)

Maybe I should try to mention this on release pages...

@seb-harmonik.ar would it be possible to update your mod to pd source 0.51.4 ?
The next ceammc lib will need last pd to have all of the features

@60hz do you get that with vanilla too or just w/ next? vanilla distribution is still using 8.6.10 afaik

yes, it works well with vanilla in OSX 10.15.4 for me.
