Hi, I'm playing around with OSC and am testing different Apps.
When it comes to "Kontrolleur" (intended for vvvv) I can easily get the data into PD, but in order to get sliders, etc. on the app, it seems as if expects me to send the instructions to the app. I've got the port, but have no idea about the instructions I should/can send.

I like the application since it gives acces to many sensors: Touch (also multiple), Acceleration, Magnetic Field and Orientation... But would love to be able to interact with it a bit more.

You send exactly the same messages back........ so if the app is sending gaspar/page1/fader1 "number"
you would send back
gaspar/page1/fader1 "number"
to control the app fader.
Check that the app is set to receive as well as send, and cross your fingers that it does not bounce the message back to Pd as the app fader moves! (data feedback...... aargh!)

The thing is that I'm unable to get an interface layout different from the intial one ( the basic "multitouch" screen). In one of the videos I found () it looks as if the interface layout with faders is created/activated using a patch running on the computer rather than the application on the phone.
This is actually more a question on Kontrolleur than on PD itself, but it requires both parts.

@Gaspar Ahh!......... I see....... it's not at all a "regular" controller.
Yes, you can use it with pure data. It builds the screen items dynamically according to the messages it receives......... I answered you incorrectly in my last post.
It has not been updated since 2012 and cannot save screens or setup, which is a bit of a pain..... but that is mitigated by being able to create the objects remotely from a patch (or vvvv, or processing or whatever).

@Gaspar Hello Gaspar, and anyone that might be interested....... the Kontrolleur app seems to have stumbled at getting the faders to work......... but still returns useful data.
It is possible to use the XY information to use faders that are shown on the app page, but you will need to calculate their values from the "touch" xy co-ordinates and the app faders will not show their labels, send their values, nor respond.....
However... the acceleration, orientation, and magnetism parameters work well along with the multi-touch information.......
........... make of it what you can......... it is an easy way to get all of those parameters from your device.

It cannot stop your device from sleeping though...... you will need to keep a finger / thumb on the screen while "working"............
