i have similar peoblem with jack and pd under redhat9.
the compile of pd038 fails with not finding jack/jackh(?!)
pd037 does not appear in the jackconnectbox of the midisection.
it is only possible to use oss mididevice but then the rest is blocked.
under debian it works well.
