Thanks Balwyn. i managed to get something working using the into_blocks subpatch + clipping some stuff in my patch to 44096 samples, still feels a little hacky though. it also works better with tabread~ instead of tabwrite4~ (tried both with and without 4 extra samples)

Hi, i'm trying to make a variable delay using tabwrite~/tabread4~ but i always get clicks each time the loop resets.
my patch ended up being very similar to the one in this thread (stumbled upon it while looking for a solution): https://forum.pdpatchrepo.info/topic/6958/delay-using-tabread-and-tabwrite. i tried to make the buffer a multiple of block size, hack around [metro] to make it block size compatible but still get clicks. could someone adapt the patch in that thread or show me a basic clean solution to the problem? because i'm kinda lost... oh i'm on Pd Vanilla so no poke~ etc.
