Actually, I'm taking it back. MIDI stopped working again. I've tried both IAC driver and MidiPipe in VCVRack and Vital and they work just fine, so it begins to look a lot like some bug in Ableton

Hello. Does anybody here has any successful experience sending MIDI messages from pure data to Ableton (11) via IAC bus on Mac? Midi indicator in the top right corner actually lights up, so the messages come through, I guess, but there's nothing going on on the individual MIDI tracks. I've also tried doing the same thing with ORCA, but there nothing works at all (though I haven't spent much time on that)
Also sending messages from Ableton to pd works just fine.
(There's a ton of tutorials on IAC in Ableton, I know, but literally all of them are about using Midi tracks for automation inside Ableton)

Okay, it seems like I just need a 64bit version of pmpd. Is there a straightforward way to port pmpd from 32 to 64bit? Or has anyone done this already?

has anyone here ever tried using pmpd on later MacOS? Mine doesn't seem to work giving this message every time I try to create a pmpd object:

I've been using Pure Data for a couple of years now and feel more or less comfortable with it, but have no actual background in coding of any kind, so any help figuring out what this means and whether this is fixable would be really appreciated!
