Hello. My name is Justin. I'm a producer from Florida.
I've got tracks published with some of the top Independent artists in the industry right now.

Becoming progressively bored with my setup, I decided to get into TouchOSC on my iTouch.
I've got it communicating with Pure Data which is routed to Ableton for various control functions.

I'm designing my own Ableton control surface interface on TouchOSC.
I've successfully designed and mapped my transport controls...mixer controls...track arming...etc..., via ctlout.

I'm now working out a 16 pad grid interface of push buttons that I would like to send note messages via noteout. As opposed to CC data via ctlout.

I've attached an example that details my attempt at this...
The 3rd chunk of code (bottom) will be my pad layout. The string of code to the left of the chunk corresponds to my first pad.

The string sends the correct note but an indicator light on the pad (in Ableton) does not go off. Indicating that there is a problem w/ the syntax that would turn the note off.

Can anyone help me get to the bottom of this.

I'm also interested in learning how to convert midi data to keystrokes w/ PD.
Is that possible?
