Hi!

I'm trying to get two patches communicating with each other on the same machine, just to get a hang of how to use these objects. I tried the help patches and nothing seems to happen. In the netreceive help patch, I added a "r foo" object with it's outlet connected to a number box's inlet, and the number box stays at "0". What am I doing wrong?

Ultimately, my goal is to get two machines to share midi timing information over LAN, for live performance purposes (i.e. having to laptops running reason while sharing midi clock.) Is that even possible, and are there better tools than PD for this?
