hiya,

i'm new to pure data (and any software of this kind), but i'm having problems getting any midi sound coming through.

when i do a midi test the button flashes as if the note were playing, but there's no audible result.

the audio test works fine, and i have tried all the troubleshooting type things i could find online, i have tried using JACK, and playing around with Audio Midi Setup....

can anyone help me? i'd be eternally grateful

oh. using simplesynth seems to solve it, as it did for someone else. sorry x
