    hallo

I'd really appreciate any pointers towards a Pd patch that plays wav/aiff files triggered by an external MIDI device on a Note value.

for example: using a drum machine with MIDI triggering a Note value (say C3) that will launch an audio clip (which has already been tempo synced)

the patch would only to have 16 assignable midi channels

    hope this makes sense :-)

    cheers

for looping 4/8/16/32 bar material @ approx 125-145BPM with the ability to cue audio before adding to the mix.

not really concerned about a crossfader, will prefer to have say 8 audio tracks each with level metering.

    NEWBIE TO Pd

I'm keen on creating a range limit random number generation experience for use in triggering MIDI note values with a sense of controlled order.

rather than going from 0-100 [random 100] Id like to set it between 36-48 with a [knob] item to control the number changes and perhaps add a [drunk] item at a later date.

probably a simple solution I bet

    pointers most welcome..

hi, you could use arrays and [tabplay~] to play files and [notein] and [sel 54 55 56 57 etc...] with bangs that trigger [tabplay~] for the midi part.

cheers! I'm a novice at Pd, but is this easy to achieve?, already done a few tutorials concerning [notein], need a few hints on the audio player aspect which will be no longer than 8bar duration.

    thanks again.
