im just trying to create a connect object, i would like to send messages to a local host
127.0.0.1 (loopback)

i create object :

connect localhost 8080|

but it never seems to connect. i hav tried lots of different ports etc.
i using windows xp, the newest version of pd

ah, my mistake im using an object rather than a mesage
