I get corevideo.dll and coreaudio toolbox error message when i start pd. say application has failed to start, but then pd seems to work anyway. anybody know what this is about? thanks.

when I run gemvideo patches I get a blue screen and no actual video. can anyone help me get gem to display video. when i click on the create box, the video camera settings dialogue box comes up, but the video display is blue. thanks.

Running windows vista with a cheap dell webcam and the movement detection patch in the gem examples folder. the camera works with other apps. I also get an error message when pd first boots up saying it failed to start because corevideo.dll and corevideo toolbox.dll were not found, but pd seems to work other than that. thanks for your assistance. btw are you an ohio person?
