I want to open a patch from another patch and any bangs in the newly opened patch to be triggered. I have the open capabilities working but the bang is not being triggered unless I manually click it. Is there some way for any bangs in a file to be triggered when that file is opened?

I am unable to change the number from 0 in a number box. I have uninstalled and reinstalled pd and that did not help. If I click on the number box when holding control down I can change the number but as soon as I click out the box, the number reverts to 0. Is there something I am supposed to do to change the number beyond click in the box and type? If not, does anyone know of anything I can do to fix this problem?
