Hi everyone,
I've been trying to install pd-extended on a brand new (well, I've just bought it) Asus Eeepc 901 running Mint12. When I sudoaptitude search pd-
I get lots of libraries (pd-ext13, pd-utils…) but nothing like pd-extended. Is that normal ?

Hello,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm new in there.
The question is : do I really have to click manually on "compute audio" after PD starts?
Isn't there a flag for this?Thanks !

Thanks for your help. My Mint seems to be Ubuntu based, though. And if I do see a "debian-keyring", no "debian-multimedia-keyring" at all.
So I installed from http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/Pd-0.43.1-extended-ubuntu-oneiric-i386.deb and it seems to work (that means I tested audio and heard a "beeep"). Now it's very late in France so I wish you a good night. I can go to sleep, I'll make deeper tests tomorrow !

Thanks a lot ! I thought such things had to be made in command line. I placed a loadbang just before and my little red button is on. Well, still got no sound, but that'll be another thread
By the way, I'd like to change the title to "solved" but it seems impossible.
