    Hi everyone,
I've been trying to install pd-extended on a brand new (well, I've just bought it) Asus Eeepc 901 running Mint12. When I sudo

    aptitude search pd-

I get lots of libraries (pd-ext13, pd-utils…) but nothing like pd-extended. Is that normal ?

    Hello,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm new in there.
The question is : do I really have to click manually on "compute audio" after PD starts?
Isn't there a flag for this?

    Thanks !

Thanks for your help. My Mint seems to be Ubuntu based, though. And if I do see a "debian-keyring", no "debian-multimedia-keyring" at all.

So I installed from http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/Pd-0.43.1-extended-ubuntu-oneiric-i386.deb and it seems to work (that means I tested audio and heard a "beeep"). Now it's very late in France so I wish you a good night. I can go to sleep, I'll make deeper tests tomorrow !

Thanks a lot ! I thought such things had to be made in command line. I placed a loadbang just before and my little red button is on. Well, still got no sound, but that'll be another thread :-)

By the way, I'd like to change the title to "solved" but it seems impossible.
