I'm outputting midi notes from my webcam grid to Kontakt 2 sampler.
Thing is the notes are hanging in the Kontakt, seemingly because of some overload??...
Any way of intercepting notes so that a note only triggers every 0.5 seconds or so??

I copied the patch in the pix_video help file to try and get a video in from my built in macbook pro webcam. I suspect I have to access the device somehow differently than the example shows "device /dev/dv1394/0" or am I totally barking up the wrong tree?

After I get this going I'm planning to make a webcam to midi CC thing to control Ableton Live, so if somebody has a patch I could use for reference that would be greatly appreciated!!

well... there's a problem again. I shut down the patch and reopened and it stopped sending out the "ctlout" data... I tried another webcam and re-patching most of it but to no avail. Also there's this

"error: inlet: expected 'gem_state' but got 'gemlist'"

non-stop message.

If someone could check it out for me I be very grateful.
