I'm clueless why i'm unable to make a nice instance of the output~ object like the one in the audio examples. if i make a new patch and make a output~ object, then open it and set the properties with "graph on parent", it just becomes a large opaque rectangle, not even the name is shown. also the contents is different from the one in the help files. it seems that pd finds another template to make a object off? is this controllable in a way?

it must have something to do with the way you organize your files on your disk.

is there a howto on the pd workflow somewhere?
