perhaps it´s a newby question , but , how can i connect CARNIVORE whit pd in my osx box?

I´ve tried with netserver/netclient object from Olaf´s maxlib externals, and it seems to print all network traffic from Carnivore when i connect like a client ( localhost 6667 ), but Pidy nearly loss any connection with Carnivore and it seems to hang up too all pidy patch.

so , did you know how can i make a stable clienrt ?

i''ve ued for a time PD in MACOS X . but now i buy a AMD 64 laptop and i have the doubt about what distro 32 or 64 bits install for audio work

what are your impressions about PD and 64 bits ?

i´m newbie , and i have a problem with my oxygen midi controller.

with other kinds of programs like sooperlooper or muse , i have no problem to make working . qjack recognize it and i can patch the midi program inputs , etc.....

but in the case of pd , i can´t start any midi response.

i ´ ve tried midiindev 1 and 2..... , and nothing happens with midi. i´m working with crrma fedora packages .


by the other hand,is it possible that qjack recognize pd midi ports to patch with the midi controller ?

now since last week ...i think , you can download RC6 package.
works very fine with externals
