here is how i solve it:

thanks for answering @weightless... it's true... but if i get rid it, when i stop the random the band don't go back to the middle... (which is necessary)... the idea is: when you stop the random, the bands return to middle... then, if you move the bands, the random starts in the possition you have settled down...

i'm working in this patch (a random motion eq)...
i'm tryng to do this:
when turn random off, the user should move the bands and when he turns random on, the motion should start at the position settled down by the user (not at the middle, like now)
any idea?
