Brand new to Pd here. I have a simple bare bones synth set up with a slider to control volume. It seems that as I lower the volume of the signal, (from a value of about 0.2 and below) the frequency of the signal goes up ever so slightly—almost a full semitone but not quite. What's happening here?

@whale-av Sorry, I'm on Mac OS Yosemite. And yes, MIDI runs perfectly fine on other software/DAWs/instruments. I'm using Pd 0.43.4-extended

I'm trying to get MIDI output from Pd working, though any object related to MIDI that I put into the canvas shows up in a comment box with a dashed red outline. This is also the case when referencing these objects in Help. I have no idea what this means or how to get around it
