Hi,
and please excuse me, I am new to pd, a man on escape from MAX. My patch that I need to convert to PD hosts VSTi's. I installed latest PD Xtended, seems to work fine.
Most of the plugins that I load into the vst~ external display empty }blackbackround] windows instead of their GUIS. This happened with NI FM7 and Absynth. PLogue Bidule displays its main bits, but Groups as well as loaded VST plugins inside Bidule are displayed incorrectly. Random errors occur. I wonder, about the GUI problems mainly, could they be caused by some missing stuff that I need to install, or is it :not reallz working : this external...
all the best,

vsts (payware and freeware) which work a charm ....
i should have noted that i run it all on win.xp bleh.
i didnt object to a kind decision to be given komplet from ni, you know. samplitude is also a fantastic piece of software. my max patch goes in the direction to opensource software with a hardware controller. the controller is a bangingable tough box, that is based on midibox circuits. osc is a must. The key think though is a succesfull conversion of ideas into soft/hardware.
i wish for nothing more than having it all under control from one screen with more fucked up ways of editing data than ableton. its just so i can go more direct into the computer with my improvising . i mean to be able to connect spirits with another improviser via soft/hardware and listen to the audio results, same as recording a field of sounds that you two are performing in.
it be wicked if i could be running this on linux in notime:] -

Hi guys,
thanks for your responses. Yes I want to make mz own instruments, but I have spent too many years on making what i have so far and cannot wait to make some noise. I am gonna have a look on the web, if i can find some info how to make it work, but seriously, if you have suggestions on what to check on my computer, your welcome>)
