Hello everyone, I am having trouble with the multichannel stuff.
Using MAC OSX, PD, ProtoolsI want to make a band playing (bass, Guitar, drums) at the same time using prottols as a shyntetizer.
I start PD, configure the MIDI output for the IAC Driver.
Then I open my Protools and I configure 3 MIDI channels and 3 AUX channels each with a sound. Then I link the input for the MIDI 1 channel as IAC Driver channel 1, MIDI 2 channel as IAC Driver channel 2, and then MIDI 3 channel as IAC Driver channel 3.
And the outputs of the MIDI channels are directed to the AUX channels, that create the sounds.
I was trying to use the [noteout 1][noteout 2][noteout 3] to reach the different MIDI channels at Protools but without success.
Any better idea?
Thanks!!!http://www.pdpatchrepo.info/hurleur/ArduinoPuredataMessageSystem-ritmos.pd

Thank you so much for the answers! Sorry it take some time for me to see because I live in japan (time lag) and I work during the day and study to my Master's degree at night. Which is the time to play with Pure Data!
Ponzo,
I will make a simpler patch, the one I uploaded it together with the whole stuff I need for connection with my Arduino and shock sensors, making it hard to understand.I want to make a band with fake instruments, but using music patterns. So people can play in their own tempo. My idea is like a guitar hero game based on tempo, instead of notes.
Maelstorm,
you are great and I always learn a lot from your comments in the forum thanks for existing!Tomorrow I will be able to use my equipment at university and then I tell you how it went. I will try everything you told me and add your names in my Academic paper Thanks. =)
