hello!

so, heres whats up. I'm using [Threshold~] to trigger [makenote] and then [noteout], and then sending the midi notes to cubase/kontakt to trigger stuff.

My goal is go have my drumset all mic'd, so each time i hit a drum it will play whatever i want, may it be a drum related sound or whatever.

my problem is that theres way to much lag (is lag the right word?) to be used. It isn't there from before the midi note gets sent out, because when i clap my hand in front of the mic to trigger [threshold~] it sends out a bang without any delay at all.

I'm using "midi yoke" to go from PD to Cubase/kontakt. maybe this is it?

while i'm here... do you know much about [threshold~]? I was wondering what the trigger threshold was defined in. is it decibels? that might become more important later on as I start to put mics on things.
