Finally got it to work by using a line~ and just setting the volume low. Records with zero distortion no matter how many notes I play at once.

I have xcode installed but I don't know how to use it. What do I have to do to get to the point where I enter the commands in the read me file?

The synth sounds distorted in the recording. How do I fix this?
