when I try to download from this link https://puredata.info/downloads/extended-view-toolkit
the file is called "master" with no extention and it cant be downloaded
and if I clik on the link "Get Extended View Toolkit for All platforms" it shows github error

anybody runs pd-extended on Ubuntu ? I have problem with music card,
the only way to hear the sound in pd is to:
1. set system sound settings as Internal Sound Card and then
2. set ALSA e-mu sound card plug-in as pd sound,

it's annoying

"internet said" that I should run pd as admin but I dk how to do it in Ubuntu (newbe user).

hello, I use pd extended + GEM + [pix_write]

PROBLEM: when I export .tif from pd my photoshop (cs 5) says: "...problem parsing the tif file"
when I try to export .jpg it exports something.jpg00000.tif

QUESTIONS:

1. what should I do to export working tif ?

2. what should I do to export working jpg (plus change quality) ?

3. what should I do to export f.ex. rectangle from pd as vectors (for illustrator, photoshop or corel) ?

I found a lot of posts about how to use pd as a vst i other programs
but I'm keen to learn how to use vst pugins in pd so I may process my sound in pd without using any other programs only vsts

I use korg's nanokontrol and it doesn't crash my pd-extended 0.43.4 (on windows 7)

but when I use many knobs and sliders very fast for about an hour or so my controler sometimes fraks out (ex. one knob sends signal like 2 knobs and 1 slider, buttons are reverted - 127 is 0 and 0 is 127 etc.)

do you think is a matter of pd-extended and I should use vanilla instead?

and if so does everything in vanilla (~ objects and gem objects) work the same way as in pd-extended?

and then terminal command: " pd-extended -rt " should run pd in real time priority
