I'm very new to PD :O. I am working on a simple sequencer that will allow me to sequence MIDI messages, as a "man in the middle" between a MIDI controller and some sort of sampler or sound module.

I hope to eventually make this patch as generic as possible so that people can use it with whatever controller / synth that they want.

However, in order to sync the sequencer with whatever else you are using I need to work from a MIDI clock.

Does anyone know of an object that acts like a metronome, but with the tick taken from an external clock?
