Hey guys!

Basically I'm reaaaally really new to this and so I'm a complete beginner! However, for my major project at uni, I'm creating an advanced metronome with a beat detector and tempo detector built in, so it can compare the tempo being played by the musician and the actual tempo of the metronome. I hope that makes sense!

I have used something called 'bonk~' for the beat detector and as far as I'm aware, it's working well. I'm needing some help with the tempo detection though. Firstly, I need something to analyse the tempo of a rhythm being played and secondly, some way of comparing that with the tempo of the 'metro'.

If anyone can help, it would be genuinely appreciated.
