I am very very VERY new to Pure Data so bare with me (or bear if you prefer)!!

I'm making a multi sampler that will be interactive when you press keys on a keyboard - and I'm trying to make it so that upon pressing one of the keys - it will randomly select one of the samples.
I kind of thought I'd know how to do this but I feel like I'm just putting things into the wrong order.

I'd appreciate any help and I'm sorry if this is incredibly scoff-worthy!
