Hi all, I am trying to synthesize the sound of a collision with an explosion and aftermath. I have this patch which is the aftermath of the explosion and need it to fade out over a period of time. There are also clicks which I need to get rid of. I have tried different variations of line~, vline~ in various places but to no avail. I am just wondering where the line objects should go. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am pulling my hair out over what (I thought) would be quite easy to do. Cheers in advance, the patch is below.

Hi all, just getting into Pure Data and have been going through Andy Farnells book. I have got the sound I want from the wind generator patch in his book but I want it to start off slow and gradually increase for an infinite acceleration type sound for about 20 seconds without dying away as it does. Any help is greatly appreciated and the patch is attached.

Hi Berenger, thanks for the reply. I have uploaded the patch again, there is still pops and I do not think I have inserted the line object correctly. Well, obviously I haven't! I'm quite new to this and really want the sound to die away/fade out over say 5 seconds or so. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Colin.

Also, you might want to turn down your speakers as it is quite loud!
