Hello there !

here is our trouble : installing pd on studio64 linux.
i've been looking at a number forums on the net, other people ask the same question and no clear answer comes.

i know little about linux, i'm more a musician/technician/designer. i would like to build my own effects / mastering tools and include them with jack for a maximum of flexibility and efficiency.
on win xp the installation has been quick and straight forward. other people report a smooth installation on mac too.

here is what i know about studio64: it looks like it's based on debian 2.14 but the desktop is definitely using gnome. my thinkpad T23 is a 32bit machine.

the advantage of studio 64 is the bundle of audio/music softwares that are included.

we need an install package of pd for apt-get or synaptic for studio 64 ! as many people write on various forums it's a tricky case.
