hi all

I'm currently trying to use pdp_ctrack with pd-extended 0.42.5 on an ubuntu 9.10 OS running on an (old) Toshiba Satellite via ieee1394. the camera works fine (kino can see it with no problems).

pdp_v4l does not get video input (pdp_v4l: auto open failed, no device opened...)

while on another patch, substituting pdp_v4l with pdp_ieee1394, I got no error message (DV4L: successfully opened), sending the message "create" to pdp_glx opens correctly the window, but no video appears in it.

I cecked permissions of /dev/* and all seems ok.

If someone han any idea about it, suggestions are welcome
