Hey guys, I've just started playing with Pd and PdVST, and I've been trying to adapt a granular pitch shifter from www.pd-tutorial.com (3.7.2.2 granular live feedback) to VST form. It runs fine in Pd, but when I drop the PdVST in Live, I don't get any sound through. Is there something wrong with the patch I'm using w/r/t using it as a VST? I've attached it for reference.

Hey all, pd/vst noob here. Can you share pdvsts with other people even if they don't have PD installed?

I tried uninstalling pd-extended yesterday and my PdVSTs still worked, so it seems like it's a standalone? Either that or it was a fluke. Thanks for answering though!

I followed the PdVST directions and my .pdv is set up correctly to my knowledge. I made a stereo delay patch before this one that worked perfectly. Can you explain why it won't run, and what I need to do to fix it?
Here's my .pdv. Note that I renamed the patch "realgran.pd" (shorter, easier to read). The .dll, .pdv and .pd files are named accordingly.

True, but if people don't want to install something they're not familiar with to run VSTs I'm making, that'd be cool. Just wondering how cleanly you can distribute PdVSTs. Anybody got an actual answer?
